The insurance company or defendant may try to claim that you were not as injured as you say you are or that your injuries were pre-existing. The next thing you should do is contact an attorney.

If you have been severely injured, the last thing you need is stress from filing legal paperwork, trying to investigate the accident, and speaking to the insurance company. The Insurance Company Will Not Always Pay You What You Deserve

Remember that the insurance company is mostly interested in making a profit. They may try to begin calling you days are even hours after the accident. They may pressure you into providing them with a recorded statement. They may even make you an offer, hoping you will accept it so they can close your case and save themselves money.

At Arnold & Smith, PLLC, we understand how challenging it can be to deal with insurance companies, especially after you have been seriously injured. We understand their tactics and will not let them take advantage of you and your family. It is imperative that you seek legal counsel before you say anything to an insurance company or sign any settlement offers. Even if it is clear that their insured customer caused your injuries, there are no guarantees, and they may try to use what you say against you to deny your claim. I can't say enough great things about Matthew Arnold and his team. I had a very complicated, high-conflict case which took a lot of time and effort on everyone's part, and I feel like my case was given the time and attention it required. Matt Arnold is a great attorney, and I would go as far as saying one of the best in Charlotte, if not the best. Bree is also amazing. Amber
